Having spent only 12 hours in Croatia, I’m no expert. But the observation that came immediately to me is how colorful its countryside is… On the way to the seaside in Cervar, where the water was a rich and sparkling blue, I could look out my window and see the red red soil housing gorgeous groves of olive trees.  Miles and miles of olive trees.  The colors were so rich that the scenery could have been the backdrop of a surrealist painting.  

I got no pictures from outside my car window, but at least the beaches of Croatia provided some prime people-watching time.
